GOLIVE with GOBAZA Episode 4, 29 May 2020

GOLIVE with GOBAZA is back for its fourth installment which aired last Friday, 29 May 2020! In this episode, it features our special guest, Zuliza Zulkifli from Nasi Ambeng Asli Jurong West!
Liza and her husband Shah, who have inherited the established business from her mother after retirement, shared how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted her sales. Nasi Ambeng Asli Jurong West was due to be a bazaar merchant before its cancellation as their bazaar sales typically contribute most to sustain the business. As such, upon the cancellation of all Ramadan bazaars this year, Liza and Shah grew worried. However, thankfully, things turn around for the better!
They credit their success during the pandemic to their marketing – they made the most out of the situation by trying out new things such as placing their products on GOBAZA.sg, offering island-wide delivery with no minimum order, and standardizing delivery fees regardless of distance. This, in turn, was received well by their customers! Nasi Ambeng Asli Jurong West has been seeing an increase in customers not only in the West but from all regions of Singapore!
For those wondering if Nasi Ambeng Asli Jurong West will still be taking orders during the Hari Raya period, rejoice! They have resumed operations on Saturday 30 May due to the high demand for their food – such as their dulang sets and their bento sets. Everything is sold on preorder basis, and your food can be delivered for a flat rate. Alternatively, you may collect your orders at 190 Woodlands BizHub!
