A Malay style sambal. Fresh chillis are pounded together with toasted shrimp paste (belacan) in a stone mortar with added lime and young manggo, creating a more spicy, sour and sweet sambal. It can be eaten with cucumbers or ulam(leafy herbs) in a meal of rice and other dishes. The only Sambal Belacan Mangga (young manggo) you can find in Singapore. Power!
